Enchanting enquiry

Hey.

Just enchanted my armour. Was wondering if as you choose perks, gain higher enchanting levels, do the enchantments become stronger? Or do you need to reapply the stronger ones to new armour?

You need to make new enchantments on new armor, no enchantments level with your character. Which makes sense and all, I just wish we had the option to go back to the enchantment table with soul gems again and override the same enchantments with better ones. That would be cool.

Yeah, true, character scalling part seems sound. Annoying that you cannot re enchant previously enchanted items. I think that should almost be seen as a bug/error that they should improve.

To work around this "shortcoming", you could:

• drop the equipment
• open the console and click on the equipment to get its ID
• use the console to give yourself a new one
• enchant the new one with your stronger power and stow or sell the old one

There is an exception. The Blade of Woe's enchantment levels with the character, but you can't learn it.
