Nephenee13
Alright, I decided to fix all the vanilla shoe meshes to fit the DMRA body properly (well, I used the EVE HGEC meshes, but same difference), went great. Took maybe an hour and a half to fix them all. This has now become This. However! There is a problem. A few of the shoes are showing the wrong texture on the foot, As such. I loaded some of the working and not-working shoes into NIFSkope, and figured that in order to properly change the texture, the foot has to have the "skin" material property. And several did not. So I try to fix it...but it changes the material type of the shoe itself as well!, which obviously causes problems. Help?
Septfox
Sounds like they use the same material block. This happens if you use Combine Properties in Spells>Optimize, I didn't even know vanilla nifs did it...huh. I'm learning something new every day about Oblivion, lately. Anyway, select the foot block, and in the Block Details pane find the expandable Properties section. Click the plus next to it to expand it, then double-click the material block's entry in the list. Clear the box, and hit your enter key or select a different entry in the list; that entry should turn to None. Right-click the Properties section, and go to Array>Collapse, this will remove the entry from the list. After that, it's just a matter of right-clicking the foot block and going to Node>Attach Property>NiMaterialProperty, or better yet just copy+paste the one used on the legs into the foot block so you have an exact match. Nephenee13
That didn't quite work, but knowing that it was "Combine Properties" led me to try "Split Properties", and that worked perfectly. Thanks.
Septfox
Wow, I completely forgot there was an option to reverse it. That's lack of sleep for ya. Glad to accidentally be of assistance
