Help Wrye Bash, missing String localizations

Hello everyone,

sorry if this is an already solved problem somewhere but I'm kind of lost with Wrye Bash.

So I have Skyrim SE, I have a few mods but today I wanted to use Immersive Armors + Rebalanced Leveled List.

On the Rebalanced Leveld List mod page it says to rebuild the Bash patch.

So I get Wrye Bash, it seems to detect some "problems", I then use LOOT to reorganize my mods, LOOT tells me I need to clean my master files.

It's not the first time I see this since one year ago I had heavily modded the "original" Skyrim.

So I use SSEedit to clean my master files, no problem so far.

Then I go back to Wrye Bash, and things look much better there except for one thing:

It tells me for:

- Skyrim.sem

- Update.esm

- Dawnguard.esm

- Heartfires.esm

- Dragonborn.esm

That "Plugin is missing String localization files. Because of that I cannot "rebuild" the bashed patch. I checked on the web it seems to be related to language in the .ini but I have no idea how to fix it nor do I know if that would cause problems with the game.

Nonetheless I played Skyrim anyway with this "problem" for 2 hours, and no problem at all. I just don't know if the "Rebalanced Leveled List" mod actually works, but the rest surely does.

So my 3 questions:

- how to fix this "string" problem ?

- and how to actually rebuild the bashed patch ? Is it just to right click on it in Wrye Bash and chose "rebuild patch..." ? (by the way that doesn't work for me right now because of the problem mentioned above.)

- does the "bashed patch" need to be checked like the other mods or can it stay uncheked ?

Big thanks to you !

^ Download that and copy-paste those Interface and String folders in your Skyrim Special Edition/data folder.

I know nothing about "bashed patch" things, sry.

Have a nice weekend!

Thank you for the link, unfortunately I have my game in french and I would like to keep it in french because I have already played Skyrim back in 2011 in english and I would like to get another feel to the game with a different language.

But thanks anyway :)

If you bother to read the description page of Wryebash, it tells you exactly how to get the strings file for your language.

Extracting Strings Files:

To make a Bash Patch you will need to extract the strings files with a 3rd party utility. One I know of is BSAManager.

1. Make a temp folder for the files.

2. Run BSAManager.exe and click the small blue folder to open a file

3. Navigate to your Skyrim SE Data folder and choose Skyrim - Patch.bsa

4. Select the files you want and right click them

5. Choose the temp folder as the destination to extract the files

6. Be sure to get the Skyrim and DLC strings files

7. You will need to make a Strings folder in your Skyrim SE Data folder

8. Copy the strings files to .\Data\Strings for the language you need i.e. English. (or in your case, French)
