An unarmed tree would be pretty awesome. It would need a LOT of work not to be unbalanced though.

Unarmed combat can be improved through perks in the heavy armor tree as well as the fortify unarmed enchantment. You can find the item to disenchant in Riften. Smith a pair of gauntlets, find a ring, and enchant them both. You won't be one-hitting dragons, but you'll be leaving serious bruises :thumbsup:

 

P.S.: Exploits can make you a one punch, one kill maniac, even without gauntlets. My current build is completely armorless, but has an exploited ring that applies a MASSIVE amount of unarmed damage. Makes for interesting late game fights, as it really only takes 1 hit from either said to determine a victor.
