MrAngelus
I have been doing some reading on this forum and I haven't done any character mods adding or changing hair or clothes just some crafting material mods and the fog of war map mods But I am rather new at this and I get the impression that reverting back to the non modded version of the game & still using your save file is rather difficult.. I found the video to install the mods on YouTube but not a video for uninstalling/removing the mods and still using the currant save files... so before i get to far in the game.... Am I messing my save file up for future use at a later date by modding?
Deleted23328924User
Hello MrAngelus Your save files shouldn't messing up because of using mods or if you want to return to the non modded version, but it's never a bad idea to make a backup of it just for safety reasons. The removal of the mods is in the principle as simple as the install, I do this constantly to test my mods and can play my save files without problems. You need the DAITools Suite Loader - Mod Manager: You can either load an empty folder with it and only merge the official patch, or your mod folder and just remove the cross on the left side at all mods, except the official patch. The official patch is automatically in the Mod Manager when you open it.( I don't know if it's necessary but I always delete the previous "Patch_ModManagerMerge folder" before I merge a new one. )After the successfully merge of the official patch, you should be able to continue without problems and without mods. I hope I could help.
