monsieursnrub
In Skyrim once you sheath your staff, it just magically disappears. Not only does this not make sense, it removes the sense of being a wizard and staff-wielder. I play a LOTR-esque wizard character and I'd like to be able to see my staff at all times. My proposal is to change the standing stance so that the base of a staff touches the floor, supporting the wielder like a walking stick. When the player starts walking, the staff is used like a walking stick also. When he or she runs and sprints, the staff is carried at his or her side like when it is drawn, except closer in, and not primed to attack. This mod might also be used to allow regular weapons to be visibly held rather than holstered when not readied for combat.
pwnedbyscope
can i also request some sort of transmutation staff?
OrphenFire
I second this idea. To be able to walk around with the staff like a walking stick would be cool. I had already thought of this when playing. Using the Third Era Weapons, I crafted a silver battle staff and enchanted it to be magical, and it DOES go on my back when not in use, but even that is sub-par to actually holding it in your hand. Sivos909
can i also request some sort of transmutation staff? If you mean one that can transform an NPC into something else, there's Wabbajack. On the walking stick idea, that would be really awesome.
