TactlessNinja
Has anyone else found the Silver Hand to be quite... Overpowering at some points? I just attacked a fort to get an object and while there were ones who are just useless meatshields, quite a few of the guys there just ripped through my armour over and over again, I had to rely on cheap tricks like luring them into the deadly traps. Like I came across some person wearing pretty much the same steel armour as me, 1-2-3 swings and they forced me to the ground, while it took me too many swings to down them. Some half naked guy with just trousers on, had the same trouble. Are quite a few of the standard 'Silver Hand' meant to be a HUGE challenge even when you're not 'most vulnerable' to them? Or is it just me? I don't think my character build is that lousy either to have such a bad effect. I'm on the default difficulty.
KratosAurion777
If you are a vampire remember that the silver weapon can kill you extremely fast . Well They have silver Weapon , and it's a better quality than the average bandit ... Well i never really had problem for beat Warrior like Foe so i don't really have any advice ... Maybe try sneak attack ?
TactlessNinja
I'm not a Vampire, but a Werewolf. Though I wasn't in Werewolf form at the time, so I assumed they wouldn't hurt me with their silver. I did do some sneak attacks, even equipped the DB's gloves, and I did only around 25% damage on one person from behind with a superior two-handed skyforge great sword, they turned around, sliced me and I lost half my health. Even blocking seemed dangerous. I guess it's partially my level, as I just read into the leveling system of Skyrim, but I didn't expect a few of the standard grunts to be so problematic. Sure the ones with special names but the typical guys? :/ I did get through the fort, I'm just concerned for later encounters with enemies now. agno
kratos is right, silver owns both vamps and werewolves. the funny thing is there is a quest (no spoliers) where at some pointa werewolf is forced into a fight with the silverhand and absolutelytrounces them. heres an idea: disarm shout or ranged combat, bow / magic.you can never reduce the damage bonus from silver, but you candrink health potions to boost max hps for ex, and use poisonsto bring silver hands down asap, like paralysis poison
bpestilence
I guess I never noticed, because although they are strong, they are also stupid and really, really easy to sneak up on. I must have killed 2/3 of them in their sleep.
satsujinka
in my experience, the leveling the silverhand has is screwed up. They're really easy early in the game, but around the 20-30s they get really tough. At least until you get better weapons and armor.
