huntsman2310
Due to popular demand, rather then just copy and paste the back legs of a Dragon and use the same animation set, I will be editing the copied mesh so it resembles a pair of forelegs, and if I have to, will have to create a new animation for them too. My Wyvern thread (disregard most of the posts in pages 4 and 5, they add nothing constructive to the thread.) If you aren't sure what I am talking about, here is the reference thread. Only thing is I'm not sure to get the shape correct. because there are at least three characteristics that forelegs universally share. 1. the knees are forward facing, at least for four legged creatures anyway. 2. they are slimmer then the back legs, due to holding less weight. 3. the feet are smaller as well. the thing is I can't just select the knees in Blender and move them forwards, because that drags the vertices closest to them along with it, stretching the model. I need some Ideas about how to do it. I do have a few ideas about the animations but I won't do them just yet. At least doing this now will make things much quicker in the future.
