pwnedbyscope
these would have to be remade not ported because of bethsofts copyright rules, but yes it would be nice to see some new creatures, however the imps scamps spiderdaedras and dreughs all died out after the oblivion crisis 200 years before skyrim, however the tundra of skyrim is too cold for and goblins
huntsman2310
Well there are several reasons why they aren't in. - Dreughs can't survive in Skyrim due to lower temperatures and different climate. - Imps are stupid anyway. - Its harder to cross over from Oblivion to Mundus since the Oblivion Crisis, thats why Daedra are severely limited in Skyrim. - Minotaurs and Ogres are native to the central regions of Tamriel, Skyrim is in the north. - Zombies are replaced by Draugr. - Goblins are replaced by Falmer in Skyrim, they were only native to places such as High Rock or Cyrodiil. and thats why. huntsman2310
So you want house cats then? I'm pretty sure Donkeys, Cows and Calves don't do well in Grim Skyrim. Sorry.
pwnedbyscope
they have calves and cows in Montana, and it gets really cold in Montana, animals can survive temperature fluctuations, and i mean come on.. giant COLD-BLOODED flying lizards sitting atop snow covered mountains i think donkeys can survive in the plains below. and yes house cats, or maybe even feral cats but nothing more
huntsman2310
Who says the Dragons in Skyrim are cold blooded? And you can't really compare a real world location to Skyrim. It won't work.
pwnedbyscope
they are lizards, aka reptiles, if you cant compare a real world location then you cant put real world limitations into it either
Matth85
How long do you think the average cat would live in Skyrim? It's pretty damn cold, and they would be killed on sight from any sadistic bandit. There is a reason there is very few Dogs, and dogs are at least a hundred times more of a fighter than a cat. Point being: There is a reason not everything is everywhere. You can't compare it to real world scenario because: 1) It is safer in our world. I doubt a dragon would burn down your house any day soon. and 2) It's blizzards every day in Skyrim. It's so cold the natives, Nords, got a 50% immunity to cold. and 3) In a world like Tamriel, and in a place like Skyrim, you need things that are usefull. Dogs can hunt and fight, chicken provide eggs and a cat would provide... nothing.
pwnedbyscope
cats were originally bred to hunt rodents in castles and houses, besides who cares if they have no use, who cares if its too cold. why cant we let be, be, and dont question it, its a game, like a movie, it may not make sense, but its there.
