NexBeth
Ok, I've exhausted trying to resolve this so let me see if I can get some insights here. I've tried repeatedly to go through the conversion process of saving my skyrim mod over to SE but every time I try, CK immediately crashes, so I can't save it. Now it is loaded with mod resources and I haven't gone through any of the mesh conversions. Is this necessary before even saving over to SE? I need to look around within the mod to see problem areas but I can't even load some of the cells. Any insight, tips on resolving this is appreciated. If I have to do 100% mesh conversions first then I guess I'll need to wait for mod authors to do this on their assets. However, I really don't want to go through all this if in the end this mod can't be saved. I have installed all assets loosely in the Data folder (not the old bsa). NexBeth
I didn't get feedback here, but I believe I found the problem and solution. The problem was a vanilla texture error on an Argonian npc in my mod. The actor would not carry over to SE and I did get the texture error message before CK crashed during several attempted saves. It was all in the vanilla Skyrim, no modifications made on this npc so I don't know why it didn't carry over, except some changes were made to Argonians, I believe, from Skyrim to SE as you can now see facial details of Argonians in the actor preview window where you couldn't before. The error message I was getting related to Argonian eyes. My solution was to delete this npc in the original esp and then save the esp in SE. Worked. FYI in case others may exp similiar issue.
