OldNick
Well you've got the right tweak, which ini file are you adding it to, Skyrim.ini, SkyrimPrefs.ini or SkyrimCustom.ini?BTW, don't add another [General] heading if it's already there. Onetimesailorman
Go to Local Disk (C:) > Users > (your name) > Documents > My Games > SkyrimDouble Click on Skyrim Configuration Settings. It opens in NotePad.Then copy / paste " bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 " exactly where you see it below.Close NotePad. You will be prompted to save the amended file.[General]sLanguage=ENGLISHuExterior Cell Buffer=36bBorderRegionsEnabled=0SLocalSavePath=Saves\
anjenthedog
ex: PS> make sure to check the file for any existing variable of that name first. If found, just change the 1 to 0 and resave the file. (afaik, if the parser were to encounter the one I show first, then another, later in the ini listing set to 1 (logic true), the borders would remain in force. SebG3
I'm trying to o the same thing but I don't have a skyrim.ini in my skyrim special edition folder. I do have a Skyrim_Deault.ini but placing it there within the General section doesn't make a difference. I did look through other ini files in that folder but they were just for LOD, none of them had a previous setting for this. Any advice? EDIT: Never mind, I found a mod that worked :-)https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7011
Helmsmasher
The ini files are in your documents>mygames>skyrim folder, not in your main skyrim installation folder. Edited May 17, 2021 by Helmsmasher
