looking for a fix, or if that is simply too many mods for the computer to handle.

1. If you are using LOOT (which you should be) click on the 3 dots in the upper right and select, "Copy Load Order", then paste it here. We need to see how your mods are organized, not what mods you have.

2. Also, are you using NMM or MO?

1. I suggest you utilize an skse.ini if you are not already. It can help with your memory allocation.
2. Dance of death is outdated, use Violens
3. Since you are using MO, ensure that your left load order matches your right. Generally, my Load order for MO is this:
Skyrim
Update
Dawnguard
Hearthfire
Dragonborn
USLEEP
SKSE Scripts (make sure these are properly installed and if you don't have it, you better get it)
[Any mods that are utilities] (Bug fixes, safety load, better messagebox controls,...)
[Custom Body Meshes]
[Custom Body Textures]
[All other ESPs]
[Animations]
[Custom Skeleton](Xp32mse,...)
Alternate Start
Bashed Patch (If using Wrye Bash)
Dual Sheath Patch (if Using it)
RSPatch (Last almost always)

I will organize my left and right panes to match the above order, then sort the right pane with LOOT, then organize the left pane to match the right.

4. Assuming you knew all that, you do have some script heavy mods. I think Immersive Patrols 2, Immersive Creatures, Apocalypse, and Ordinator. While Immersive uses small scripts, it uses a lot of them, and I'd just check on their compatibility as I'm not sure that all of these are actually compatible with each other. I don't use them, but they may be something to check on. Generally with mods that use the same section or alter things you will probably want to use Wrye Bash and see if it wants to make a bashed Patch. Keep in mind I'm pretty new to modding, but that's just what I'm seeing here. Maybe go through your mods and make sure you don't have incompatibilities listed on their mod pages.

5. You do have some equipment mods that also may conflict: Melt down everything and complete alchemy and cooking. Double check to see if these work in combination fine. I imagine one just works on ores, but maybe it will touch on the other mod a little.

6. Make sure that once you've moved or removed a mod from your game, you start a new game. Skyrim bakes scripts into your save, and when you move a mod or delete it, it can still be looking for it and cause CTDs. It's okay to add a mod to an active game unless specified otherwise by the mod author, but if you ever want to remove it and keep playing that save, you should load back to when you installed it.

Your advice is really solid, but I just wanted to pipe in that I use IP2, SIC, Apoc, and Ordinator in pretty much every game (I pull Apoc when playing pure warrior or thief), and they're stable together. I've used SIC and IP2 together in every single game I've played since they first got released. It's possible that they might cause problems on a budget PC, but I'd look elsewhere first. IP2 spawns a lot of NPCs for it's battles, so that could stress out a system. (I'm using them with ETaC, too, FWIW, no problems.)

Also, if Adventurers and Travelers is the mod I'm thinking of, there are a lot of bug reports about it, and it hasn't been updated in a long time (wouldn't matter if not for the bugs). You might want to read through the posts for that mod.

And finally, IIRC The Asteria has hundreds of dirty edits. You should clean it with TES5Edit if you haven't.

In mod organizer is the left and right pane matching important?

also made a wyre patch today.

Edit: Still a CTD as soon as a get outside of solitude from the carriage heading towards the dock. Maybe I need to sort the right and left panels in MO? Here's what I have loot showing me.

Edit: Attempted basic cleaning on mods that said it was needed....testing

1. Test on a new save. Your old one will likely still have the same issues as it did.

2. Ensure you have run LOOT. You mods are out of order. Make sure that after you run it, you hit "Apply".

3. On the left pane, even though most mods with mirror the right pane, you can sort your textures to how you want them to be applied, such as, if I wanted WATER to overwrite what SMIM does, then I put that lower on the list than SMIM. For the most part, the right pane will sort as LOOT desire it to be sorted though.

4. If you don't know what you are doing when it comes to cleaning mods, make sure you get advice and watch on youtube how to do it properly.

That's strange I copied and pasted that load order directly from the Loot copy to clipboard but they still look wrong? I did extensively watch the cleaning videos through youtube. The crashing near solitude has stopped but doing one final test right now.

Thanks for pointing out Viola too it is extremely better. All the help is very appreciated so far much farther than I thought I would get. I've been ready to give up many times and have watched hours of videos of what to do.

If you had hit Apply when running LOOT, it would have definitely put Alternate start.esp at the very bottom, but since it is up there, I know you didn't hit Apply. Go into the program, hit SORT and wait for it to finish, then there will be a white button that says "APPLY". Hit that and then you are good.

No problem, I enjoy helping where I can.
