I guess they spent too much time playing Gothic - if you want the best gear, it's no good being rich in Skyrim, you have to be a geek, and max out your smithing, enchanting and alchemy skills. This is just stoopid. It goes right along with fact that I can spend hours smithing and then level up and increase my magica! or spend hours zapping rabbits with destruction spells and level up and increase my stamina... or worst of all, spend hours inhaling weird chemicals over the alchemy bench then level up and increase my health! I would PAY for a mod that allowed me to pay a blacksmith or enchanter for their services, not to mention pay an alchemist to prepare a potion on demand, much in the way that, oh, I dunno, a chemist would?
