EArning your way back to life

How about, every time you die, you have to do a random series of quests from a paper/book you find in front of you when you enter sovngarde, which would say:

"Little Dovah, this is not your time. You are still needed.

Even so, you must fight your way out, and it will not be easy.

To escape to the land of the living, you must:

(List of quests)"

That would be awesome.

If this was made, I would jump off a cliff right when I install it.

* A "single life" character death replacement. I've always hated the lack of immersion in the death system. I die, but yet I just reload and voila! I'm right back where I was. I'd like to replace "death" with something else. Imagine if you will, you enter a cavern and are killed by a gang of bandits. Rather than simply reloading at the entrance, you awaken, perhaps days later, in a cage, stripped of your belongings, on a cart bound for Gods know where, having been sold into slavery. Just one possibility. This would likely start small, having you simply wake in a sneaking position where you were left, stripped of your cash and down (permanently) 10 Health.

Kind of makes you think there could be many different possibilities. If you get killed by a dragon, definitely to the afterlife with you. Make it dependent on the creature that kills you.

Killed by a Draugr? Spend the rest of your days as a Draugr and await your second death to take you the rest of the way and return to the mortal plane properly, but stripped of your gear.

Killed by a spider? Cut your way out of the sack before your life drains.

etc etc

I have no objections to this, except that, to stick to the lore and the game's logic, if you're a Nightingale you should go to the twilight sepulcher instead, since nocturnal has a claim over your soul. Likewise, if you're a werewolf, you should go to the Hunting Grounds. If you're a Nightingale Werewolf, however, I have no idea what should happen.
