EArning your way back to life

I have no objections to this, except that, to stick to the lore and the game's logic, if you're a Nightingale you should go to the twilight sepulcher instead, since nocturnal has a claim over your soul. Likewise, if you're a werewolf, you should go to the Hunting Grounds. If you're a Nightingale Werewolf, however, I have no idea what should happen.

Actually now that i think about, you should go to sovngarde only if you are a nord, sovngarde is nord "heaven" what are the other races heaven/soul resting place ?.

Common mistake, you see.. eternity is actually a finite thing in terms of souls and gods. Once you've paid your debt of eternal service you go on to the next. Then at the end of it all, if you qualify for multiple places of rest and paradise or whatever, then you have your choice.. but remember that choice lasts for all eternity.

this would definatly be a great mod to have, yet if your a player that dies a lot, you'll find this very annoying. there was one for oblivion that had you respawn at a church and you had to go back to your body to get your items, and if there was, say, bandits, around they would take some of your stuff, so you would have to kill them to get it back.

Well, to expand on the 'different' after lives, you'd probably go to the most recent, or powerful, deity that you served.

DBs go to Sithis/Night Mother

Powerful (no faction) Dovahkin go to realm of past Dragonborn

Nightingales go to Nocturnal

Imperial Legion go to Divines

Stormcloaks go to Sovngarde

Etc, etc, etc...

Having mulitple, varying afterlives would be an interesting and immersive concept. And having certain 'deaths' cause a semi-new start would be excellent.

I hope someone does take this up!
