Quick Questions

Just a couple of quick questions a few hours into the game. I also have a bunch of mods enabled, but hopefully people will recognize if they cause any problems.

1) Is there a way to control the camera and make it synch with actor facing? So that the camera is always facing where I'm facing, and I can navigate with just the WQES keys.

2) Is there an expanded quickbar? It really kills the immersion if I have to click P and pick a talent every time.

3) To remedy the above, can I assign hotkeys to talents and skills?

4) With the Autoloot mod, do I actually have to manually use the Loot Nearby Skill to... uh... loot nearby? LOL was hoping it'd be more automatic. Like don't have to loot items just get added to inventory ya know?

5) Is the CUN rogue bug fixed? I think the one where the modifier for melee didn't calculate correctly. I've only installed the official patches and mods, so not sure if it's fixed. Also speaking of this bug, what's the correct way for it to work?

Thank you for your help!

I'm not sure about most of the questions, but I know that you can expand the quickbar. Put your cursor on the far right edge of the quickbar. If you click and hold, you can drag to expand it.

1) IDK :(

2) I might be wrong, but I think you can just drag and drop talents and skills on to the shortcut bar and they'll be assigned a hotkey. It's already numbered: first slot will be the '1' key, second slot will be the '2' key, etc. That's how it works in most games of this style at least.

3) Yeah, what Aegrus said. You may have to click on the little padlock on your quickbar before it lets you expand it though.

In no particular order:

1. The camera location is "tethered" to the currently controlled character, but it's direction is totally independent. As noted, you can travel "forwards" by left-clicking left on the destination, then swing the camera view using the RMB to watch all around as you travel, and the scroll-wheel to zoom in and out. (Note, using the WASD keys will override the destinations and send the character in the appropriate direction instead.)

But DAO isn't designed as a 1st-person game, so you control the direction you (the player) are looking with the mouse, not with the characters.

2. In addition to dragging the Quickslot bar fully open to the right, there are a few mods that let you have more than one. (Max I've seen is four.) Search the DANexus for "Quick" and you should find them.

3. Not sure which auto-loot mod your talking about. I use the "DA Core Rules Fixpack", and it doesn't have Talent or Skill for this. It just does it!

4. I belive the Rogue Damage Bug got fixed in the 1.02 or 1.03 patch. (But IIRC, it was related to DEX, not CUN. Maybe that was something else...)
