I think most people do it with photoshop, but it also works with gimp. ( I use gimp to practice )I just searched the complexion in ModMaker and exported it - opened it with gimp and I made it transparent ( ca. 30% ) like the other, original complexions for Inquisitor. The transparency makes it tintable. To make it tintable with photoshop, it's important that the alpha channel isn't visible before you merged the image.
