Mebantiza
Is there a step I need to apply in CK when assigning outfits to NPCs, that allows the items, to be removed from the NPC via the usual method? I converted a Skyrim 32 follower, and she has the outfit, but you cant remove the actual pieces, except through console. I noticed the exact same behavior on another modders follower. Worn gear that you could remove in Sky32, I cant seem to in Sky64. Any way to address this?
Deleted3897072User
Outfit items were not visible in the inventory even in Oldrim unless you were using a follower mod that turned them into loose items. In the CK, set the outfit to None and add the parts as individual inventory items. In play, the follower will still equip their best but will appear naked if you remove everything from their inventory.
thumbincubation
When I make a follower, I usually put them in some kind of clothes, or a dress if female, and then inventory the armor items as Oldmansbeard said. This way, they wear clothes when doing their thing, but change into armor when actively following you. You can also take it from them, to upgrade or enchant it, change it, etc.
