One thing about Skyrim (and all Beth games to date) is that the vanilla game uses a lot of fake lighting. Using objects that give off light has a small performance impact, so I assume that's why Beth does it this way.

There are mods like Realistic Lighting Overhaul that remove all the fake lights in the game and adds real lights.

If those are actually giving off light, but it's too dim, there are bright light settings mods (or you can do it yourself), OR you can raise PointLighting settings in your enb config.

For example, in enbseries.ini:

PointLightingIntensityNight=0.91 // raise this, try in increments of 0.2 or more to start, like 1.3, 1.5, 1.7

PointLightingCurveNight=0.92 // raise or lower this to adjust warmth and contrast created by Intensity changes

The "//" in an enbseries.ini file means that it's a comment, and will be ignored by ENB.

The *Curve values will make the lighting more warm and higher contrast as values rise. The *Intensity values are just straight up how strong you want the light to be. Sometimes I punch up both, sometimes I raise the intensity and lower the curve to reduce contrast. It depends on the situation.
