You can recruit up to 20 npcs - anyone who can wear a ring.You should be able to make them equip the recruit ring through console command - but I personally use the gun from Cheat Room to just open the equip-inventory screen with the NPC.If you want 'em to stop following you, you have to take the ring off of them and equip it to yourself or some other NPC for a sec.I'm actually gonna see if I can apply the effect to a dog collar.
