Klimm
After playing the game through three times, I made a fourth character with the aspiration to be a vampire thief that dabbles in illusion magic. I think the pros and cons of being a vampire are pretty balanced, but that's not the topic. One of the first things I noticed that bothered me about vampires is that "Your vampire blood boils in the sunlight" when I'm not actually in sunlight. If anyone could make a mod to enable vampire regeneration while in the shade, that would be terrific! Maybe even enable regeneration when every part of your body is covered, using one of the dragon priest masks with thieves guild armor for instance. It's not just vampires that irk me when it comes to outside shade. When I'm on my thief/archer character (100 sneak) any mobs around me can sniff me out in no time at all after initiating combat. I'm in considerable shade with max sneak skill!! This is ridiculous to me! It takes away from the game to me, since I could just go duel wield Elemental Fury and rip anything apart in 0.5 seconds flat. I don't have any moding experience, so I have no idea how much effort it would take to make mods that could do these things, but if someone could make them, It would make my Skyrim experience 87.81% Better! TL;DR: MAKE SHADE USEFUL OUTDOORS! P.S. : If a mod like this exists, PLEASE point me to its location! Thanks!
Klipperken
I think, the problem is the current game AI's.I would love to see TRUE interaction, but that is possibly not for the first ten years from now. With true interaction I mean: you walk up to person X, and begin a not-premade chat with it."Damn dude, this weather sux!"-"Tell me, before you entered this Cell it was freezing my nuts off.""You're.... nuts?" -"Yes, I try to get almond nuts.... no success this far though..."""Could be that it is because the creators forgot to implement almond nuts?"*The man begins to rub his chin, then*-"Wow, never even considered that..." tuypo1
i agree but it would be tough perhaps when indoors a you walk into a beam of sunlight your blood boils so it goes both ways
JanusForbeare
The GMSTs (game settings) fMagicSunDamageSunHiddenScale and fMagicSunDamageWaterScale reduce the sun damage taken when the sun is obscured or when the player is under water, respectively. I assume they still exist in Skyrim. By tweaking the fMagicSunDamageSunHiddenScale value, it should make it easier to survive while not directly exposed to sunlight, even during the day. However, I've never played around with those settings, so I couldn't give you a definite answer.
