WrathOfDeadguy
Room? Feh, who needs a room? I'm holding out for a full VR interface... :P Seriously, though, my dream gamer room would include one of these, max specs, dual bootable. You just can't beat dual quad-core processors, 4TB of HD space, 32GB of RAM, and a 1.5GB graphics board. You could run half a dozen games at a time with a rig like that! Thanodai
Screw LCDs and plasma screen tvs. This is what will display all my wonderful games. Speaking of which, this is what I would be playing them in. With equally powerful computers to match. Which, escapes me at the moment, but I'll find it. ;) If I ever bought an Apple, I'd nuke the hard drive and install XP and Unbuntu. Especially since Apply has finally admitted that pc hardware tech is superior to the crap they used to put in there. :) -T-
Marcus Wolfe
Mine would have a PS3 and Xbox 360 (who needs a Wii?) hooked up to thanodai's theater. Then you'd go into another room and see a computer with 76% of the world's current computing power.
Kresselack
a large room shaped like a dome. The dome is actually a screen, including the floor. In the middle would be a treadmill which rotates 360 degrees. I could play virtual reality Oblivion. The screen on the floor would display the grass and the dome would display the surrounding enviornment. If I turn around i see what is behind me and not turn the game's camera. There would be gloves that control the player's arms, allowing me to pick up objects such as a silver longsword. Each finger in the glove has a sensor, allowing me to make jestures such as wiggleing each digit. The set also come with boots for the leg areas. Each area on the suit vibrates depending on where i have been hit or shot. THAT is the ultimate system.
