Lhouraii
I know this may sound stupid but the Google search I did was no help and I have no experience with modding. I've noticed people are importing mods from previous creators - is that difficult to do? If not, how would I do that? There are 2 mods that I really want but no one is importing them for Xbox, so I'm wondering if it's something I could do. Thank you for your time! <
EmissaryOfWind
As far as difficulty, it really depends on the mod. Some will work from the get-go, some will be as much work to port as they were to make. But the thing is, you can't publish a port of a mod without the permission of the original author. If you're going to set the mod on private to only be used with your account, that's fine, but if you make it public it's copyright infringement. Lhouraii
Ah, ok! I would try and get permission then! It's the mod that allows multiple adoption. Also, a mod that will have different races of children to adopt. Do you think those would be easily imported? If so, how would I import them (if I can get permission)? EmissaryOfWind
That doesn't sound too hard, though I haven't looked at the inner workings of these mods myself. My first step would be to copy the esp and any loose files to your SSE Data folder, unpack any bsa that may come with, and open and resave them in the SSE Creation Kit. Then activate and test the mod.
