LordNyghthawk
I liked both WC3 and 4. Prophecy gameplay was good, but the HUD graphics were chunky. And related, Privateer 2 was pretty good as well.
NewtC
In my opinion, wing commander was almost impossible to beat, (in fact, I'm still working on it) and I was always mad add the darn corvette capital ships blowing the crap out of me. How do you destroy those things anyway??
xenxander
Don't know, but I liked Privateer 2 for it's casual gameplay style. There was a storyline but you could do freelance missions for deliveries, kills, packages, and transport items to any planet (provided you could survive the trip :P ) As for Wing commander.. I'm still looking for the first wind commander.. I have all others but on one sells the first one :(
NewtC
LordNyghthawk:By your signature, I'm guessing you also play either the Mechwarrior games, or the Mech comander games.
LordNyghthawk
The very last mission is very hard on WC4, but the cap ships are easy. Use a Longbow with torpedoes. NewtC: Yes, I've played all the Mechwarrior games (own 2, 2 Mercenaries, 2 Ghost Bear Legacy, 3, 3 Pirates' Moon, Vengeance, Black Knight, and 4 Mercenaries.) The best game play out of any of them was 4 Mercs, but I miss the Classic Battletech critical slot style of creating a mech....On 3, I could make a very mean Bushwacker, on 4, it wasn't as good(no Jump Jets to install on that chassis). And I've played both MechCommander games, never did get to beat the first one though, kept getting stuck on one mission. MC2 was pretty easy though. Lord Barkmann
I was a fan of the WC games. I had 2, 3 and 4. Beat them all, but yeah the last mission in WC4 was hard. When i heard about a movie coming out about the WC games i was happy and could'nt wait to see it. Then i saw the movie and wish i didnt see it, talk about a bad movie. Actually, the movie wasn't bad....just not in the time frame I expected. It was somewhere before WC2. I expected at least, 3 or later.

I also played both Mechcommander games, and always had a great time on mechwarrior 4 and mercenaries. Which mission were you stuck on? I got stuck on the one where you are supposed to protect the barns. I also had a gift for actually landing on mechs using jumpjets. I always use the catapult chasis. LordNyghthawk
Been so long, I don't even remember. I like the Mad Cat way better than the Catapult. in MC and MC2. For Mech4 Mercs, I use the Blood Asp almost exclusively. But if I'm limited in tonnage, I'll go to either the Talos or the Bushwacker.
