Skyrim Crash to Desktop When Going Near Whiterun

I try to either walk or Fast Travel to Whiterun, the game just CTD's

Please help

it's because the area around whiterun need a lot of CPU and your computer probably have a bit lack of capacity .

 

Try lower Settings .

and my CPU Quad

RAM 4g

I think its because the savegame get crached

To check if it's your saved game, load an older saved game and see if it CTDs in the same location or not.

Most likely the problem is not with your PC but is in the saved game. Many people are currenlty experiencing that same problem and are waiting for Bethesda to fix it (next patch sometime in january).

If you browse this forum and other Skyrim forums (Steam, Bethesda), you'll find many discussions about it.

 

In some cases the problem can be solved by going indoors (an inn or your player home) and wait/sleep 30 days, then continue playing. Some people say autosaves and quicksaves are more prone to problems than manual saves.

Since this new patch my game has lots of crashes, first I manage to fix it by deleting a mod that I was using before and it was working fine, for some reason it does not work with this patch, after I fixed it I still needed to play like 20 minutes save crash more 20 minutes save crash and so on... now I came to thepoint that it crashes constantly and my saving and loading crashes too with or without mods so the problem is with this new patch -.- this is ridiculous , bethesda should fix this as soon as possible if they can rather than saying new patch in january, now people that have crashes have to wait till january to play the game...

I know this thread has been dying, but i just randomly started to encounter this annoying crash.

I tried my oldest savefile, but without success. I've tried to load the cache things in steam, but without success either. I don't know what to do.

If I use a door to enter whiterun, my game CTDs. If i fast travel to whiterun, it works only for a couple of seconds -then it CTD.

 

This crash started occuring today - i was playing fine without any crash these last days. Anyone has a suggestion?

Guys!! Guys!!!

I know why am i crash on whiterun. It's because of NPC Editor that i use. So i check it and it is Really Crashed.

If you guys using this mod, remember to deactivate it. Cuz when i use this mod, it CTD
