When I first preordered Skyrim, it was the most excitement I ever experienced in all my fifteen years, because this was the first game ever to have dragons as a really big role for me, {except Spyro but that definitely did not count.} But what made me very very excited was when I was preordering it I foolishly thought that there was a dragon tail coming out of the hero on the game picture, (it was a small picture, I didn't realize that it was coming from bellow not from behind him.) So I thought, 'Oh my god, you can transform into a dragon?!' And of course, when I found out, I was disappointed that you couldn't, but still have so much fun with the game. But here comes the obvious mod request here. The ability to use a shout to transform into a Dragon, Dova, And I think it's possible, since in Skyrim your character can transform into a werewolf to have a completely different battle system. But the way I in-vision it is this. Of course it will not be easy to do, instead of one dragon soul to acquire for every shout, it takes multiple. Say, 10 shouts to let alone unlock the first part, but not only that. But finding the Dragonstone to let you learn the shouts will involve a massive quest, involving dragon conspiracy and jazz such as that, but, let's say for the second shout it takes fifty, and to the final it takes one hundred dragon souls to unlock. But the best part, is that for each part of the shout causes a different dragon transformation. If you only use the first part let's say you transform into a lesser dragon, for the second, one of the frost dragons, and finally for the third you transform into a similiar Alduin. (Which would bring up some epic fights in the final battle with the true Alduin.) But I know the main issue's would be with flying, and fighting while flying such as the flyby fire breath or frost breath. And flying in general, since even the dragons in the game currently are really buggy while flying.

My first feedback would be, take it to this thread.

There's quite a bunch of like-minded modders over there dedicating their free time to examine possibilities and devise methods to do exactly that.

And if I may say so, they made some pretty impressive progress so far. Worth a read.

 

(I'm just sad I can't be one of them. But my recent fail with a really tiny xmas-animation project showed me again how severely my time for modding is limited currently. Nevertheless I said I'm a supporter, so spreading word is the least I can do.)
