McShooterz
This is more brain storming then anything as I don't know the limits of scripting within Skyrim. The idea is to put in place a system on a particular container to a particular crafting station like an alchemy table, that allows for resources(alchemy ingredients) in the container to be used without taking them out of the container, or needing to up them all back in. I imagine a script could run when interacting with the alchemy table with moves all ingredients from the container to your inventory, and when exiting moves all ingredients from your inventory back to the container. Naturally this would only be for things inside your homes. It would allow for quick drop offs of ingredients as well. For Arcane Enchanters they would do the same, but with filled soul gems; not including Azuras star. Forges/grind stones/workbenches could do it with ingots, leather, or gems. cooltrickle
I know exactly what you mean as I'm trying to create this myself. This would be a handy mod but the stumbling block is finding the script or method by which the game looks into your inventory to make sure you possess the crafting materials. Once I have that I can point the game to a container instead that holds your crafting materials. I'm sure it's possible but I can't find the script within the Creation Kit. I want to make this mod and would appreciate if anyone can tell me what scripts govern the crafting furniture?
madmario
I think in general the game is missing "organizational" type mods. In every other Bethesda game there are mods that will auto sort your gear into tradeskill containers or ammo/weapon racks. Having never authored a mod myself I don't know if that's a limitation of the new creation kit, or just that no one has done it yet.
