thundrina
Hey all. Before anyone jumps on me, I HAVE searched for this topic but none of the threads that i've found have a solution for my exact issue other than anecdotes. Im trying to add custom dialogue. It is going fine, except when i leave the quest editor, and then try to reopen it and go into the dialogue view, it crashes immediately. It's quite frustrating as I dont have time to do the entire dialogue in one sitting AND if it crashes when I try to reopen it in the editor, who knows what it will do in game!Anyone experienced this issue? is it something to do with the SEQ file or something? thesniperdevil
I've had this too. No solution yet - I'm running the CK in admin mode too. :/ In fact, since I started the quest dialogue- the entire mod seems to have broken, scripts aren't firing anymore >:0 Edited November 24, 2016 by thesniperdevil
Xiderpunk
Yes this is a reported problem on the beth.net forums. I also discovered the issue first hand. Your dialogue will still exist just you have to ignore the Dialogue Views tab completely and just use Player Dialogue tab. If you click on Dialogue Views it will crash every time. zilav
Run Bethesda.net launcher as Administrator and then the CK itself from it at least once, this should register necessary dlls for dialogue views.
Armyntian
So I had the same issue with CK crashing when editing dialogue views, but I seem to have fixed it. Before when it happened I was making a plugin for an edit in a main quest and I tried loading Skryim and Updates without my plugin and I found my added dialogue views in the quest I'd been editing. Not sure what I did. Then I went into the dialogue view files and deleted the ones I created for the plugin and the plugin.esm. It doesn't crash anymore.
