you mean Cell Shading? That'd be kinda hard to do and it might slow down your FPS...

Dont know what cell shading is, and i was only thinking about trying skyrim in cartoon graphics to see how that works:P

Have you every played Zelda: Wind Waker? Or XIII? those games are cell shading. Borderlands is kinda Cell shaded, but not as good as those other 2 games.

"Cell shading" is the simple term for what you're asking for-- flat colors, thick border lines, etc. Depending on how it's executed, it can actually *increase* FPS-- I bring to your attention to The Retro Project, which is a handy-dandy mod whose ultimate goal is to re-do the textures to look like old fashioned 8-bit games, or the more recent Minecraft. Many of the comments are about how impressed they are at how much better the game runs-- perhaps because the textures are reduced in size (rather than increased, like most texture mods) by a significant margin.

The Mod suggested by ZombieInfected is referred to as TF2 Mode, (As in 'Team Fortress 2') and as far as I know is not a mod in the sense that it's a plug-in like most of what you see on the Nexus, but rather a result of tweaks and adjustments to the game itself... basically you turn off *all* textures to get it to look like that, is my understanding.

How to do it is a bit beyond me, though, so I'm hoping someone *will* post a simple set of instructions on Nexus at some point.

Cell shading explained < Google is your friend. ;)

If you have an ATI card, here's how you can do it: (As the dude on reddit explained.)

1 Install ATI Tray Tools

2 Right click on ATT

3 Go to 3D -> 3D Settings

4 Go to tab called "additional"

5 Slide "Texture LOD adjustment" to 10

6 Hit apply

I suspect nVidia cards will have some similar settings, that can make Skyrim look like this, but I'm not sure.

Edit:

Here's another youtube video, that explains both nVidia and ATI settings in the comment below the video. Watch it on Youtube, then click the [show more] button.
