i like all forms of music (aside from country. it makes me angry, dont ask me why, i dont know.) i dont understand how anyone cannot like rap though, it takes considerable talent to be able to rhyme that fast. :) i fck up alot of the time when i do, but people dont seem to notice too much lol

but i play the electric guitar, and piano. i also dj a bit :D its quite fun :)

i wish i had the money to buy a violin so i could learn that...

my biggest drawback though is that i cannot read notes :(

never learned how to, and i dont suspect that i will ever be able to...

i do sing for my band also, i dont play any instruments for the band though, i am not quite half as good as anyone else in the band :)

I used to play in a large Wind Band

Playing the everso famous Clarinet,

Years of practice have left me capable (keyword capable) of playing anything from Saxaphones to Picalos.

But all that was back in the day,

I've thought about playing again, but not much need for my skills outside of Jazz, or an orchestra.

But mabe one day i'll bring SAXY BACK...

I play electric and accoustic guitar for 15 years now... I also play in band Revelation... We also have myspace account but cant give you a link now... I think if you search as revelation turkey in myspace, you may find out more about us...

As for the genres I like, I am nothing but a headbanger, the old school heavy and thrash metal... As for Revelation, what we do is much like power/thrash/progressive metal...

I also own a Jackson Dk2, it is pretty old right now but has great tones...

Piano for six years in my youth, don't remember enough to play, but learned a lot of theory and remember enough sight-reading to be able to pick my notes out of a vocal score (with a little time).

Guitar for nearly twenty years, on-&-off, strictly rhythm (hands too small to play bass, and some residual slowness in my left from an accident... never could play lead). Have a Guild Songbird Electro-acoustic back in the states that couldn't follow me here to Korea. Good-enough for open-mic and bonfire parties, never gonna' be famous for my music.

Three years employment as a stage electrician (sound & lights)... done sound for a ton of local, no-name bands, typically running a 16-channel mixer (once you know how to do those, additional channels don't make much difference).

More of a techie than a musician, really.

You can't spell crap without rap.

There are a suprising amount of bassists here. Cheers! Been playing 3 years now since I was 11.

I'll listen to most stuff, bar rap, indie (It's just rock with it's balls removed), gay pop crap, most solo singers.

Mainly rock, metal, punk and blues.

For those about to rock... we salute you.

I probably feel the same about music as you, if not, then much greater.

It's my life, what else can I say? I'm 14, and I have been playing guitar since I was 11. Classical for 2 years, and then electric. I like alot of music, infact, pretty much everything! Rap can be alright, but normally when it's so fast you can't hear a thing, then I don't like it, it's just stupid. Classical and rock are definately my favorite genres, Classical is so relaxing, and rock sets you in a good mood. When I'm feeling slightly angry I like to listen to metal, or just when I'm feeling like headbanging and screaming. Dance music only works for me in clubs etc; I can never listen to it when I'm walking down the street or that sort of thing. Country music lifts my spirits when I'm feeling down, and so can anything that involves a banjo :D

I'm definitely going to get a job in music, and I'm studying as hard as I can to get into a music university.
