madmanasunder Posted November 23, 2016 Share Posted November 23, 2016 Hi, This forum seems to focus on installing others mods, but I know there are a lot of mod creators here on nexus (obviously) and don't know where else to inquire about this. I installed the mod tools from cdprojekt and am using script studio to modify scripts. I am actually getting the hang of it pretty quick and am getting things to happen the way I want so that is good. However, my testing process leaves something to be desired. I make changes to the scripts... then install mod via script studio option... start game (let the scripts possibly fail to compile at this stage) and then it starts and I end up testing by loading up a save. I'm making progress with this method, but it is definitely time consuming. Two things I have noticed. One, it looks like scripts do debug messages and do something called fact setting. Do any modders know how to see this (either at realtime in the game, or a log file somewhere after playing)? Secondly, I see that I can link the script studio to a running instance of the game and utilize break points, but I can't seem to figure it out. Has anybody used this feature before?
