xenxander
Well you may not consdier me a newbie any longer, but as far as time wise, I’ve only been here since 20th of January, so just over a month now might still classify me in this category. I had wondered if I should even post here but figure ‘better late than never’. I suppose a little about me, that’s not in my profile would be in order:Used to be a game junky (back in the SNES era, and before with the NES and my old Atari 2600 and Atari 800 XL ), but now I play games far less. There’s that thing called ‘real life’ and ‘work’ (shudders) that keep my time separated from the consoles and PC, and I’ve really migrated away from heavy console gaming into PC gaming. I enjoy games like Caesar IV, Shogun: Total War, Supreme Commander, Warlord Battlecry, Privateer 2: The darkening, LEGO Star wars…I mix and match old school with new school a lot, and tend to keep the games I enjoyed even if they really weren’t that great. I will return to college this year to work on my Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, and hopefully land a job one day making software or perhaps creating video games of my own. Oh, and I like cats and hate stupid people. :P

Malchik
Yes, ninja has a point. Maybe we should have an oldbie intro section too? Welcome anyway. Life can get in the way of gaming in much the same way as ageing gets in the way of youth. Not a lot to be done about it unless you have pots of money. Then you can get someone to design your own virtual world and you can go and live there. (As long as it doesn't end up like Tad William's 'Otherland' story.) Cheers
