xoxSugah
I deleted a house mod without taking all my stuff out of it first xDI didn't have everything in there, but I had my wabbajack, a lot of soul stones, and random bits of armor there.
CJD
I deleted a house mod without taking all my stuff out of it first xDI didn't have everything in there, but I had my wabbajack, a lot of soul stones, and random bits of armor there. The same thing happened to me, I was devastated for like 30 seconds. But my BIGGEST mistake was only saving once on my new character, and then it got corrupted and i was pretty much screwed, I make like 5000 saves per character now. EthanBlackheart
dropped the skeleton key on accident and lost it in one of the graphical glitches where things fall through the ground and not realizing it saved.
Faivon
I was at the end of a big big battle but suddenly I accidentally hit one of the guards and they started chasing me And oh, I actually WAIT in the bask of sunlight when I am a full-fledged vampire! MRG
My biggest mistake, was buying Oblivion in the first place. Two Worlds & Gothic 3 are twice the game Oblivion is. At least in my humble opinion. Hell, Oblivion on my Cell phone was more fun than Oblivion on my PC was. -MRG
Halororor
My biggest mistake, was buying Oblivion in the first place. Two Worlds & Gothic 3 are twice the game Oblivion is. At least in my humble opinion. Hell, Oblivion on my Cell phone was more fun than Oblivion on my PC was. Maybe that's because you just suck at oblivion. Gothic 3 was hopelessly too buggy and was trying to imitate other great games. Two worlds was infinitely more fun for a few weeks, but then you start getting bored and it basically cloned oblivion.... *SPOILER* My biggest mistake was taking on the Deadra Lord in the Kvatch castle. For those who don't know, when you open the gate in the Battle for Kvatch or something like that, in the courtyard just in front of the castle door, to the right is a door that leads to a deadra lord with an insanely powerfull mace. My second biigest mistake was not saving often and while escorting Martin to Cloud ruler temple having him get stuck behind some rocks. Strange how a game with such great graphics still couldn't figure out a script that let's NPC's walk around obstacles. Once while on a fighter's guild quest where you had to escort somebody into a deadra whorshipper cave, a statue broke and fell over, she just kept on walking into one of the pieces and probably still would have been had I not loaded a save. Damn, somebody, please make a mod or something where the NPC's can just find alternative routes around obstacles.

MRG
Maybe that's because you just suck at oblivion. Gothic 3 was hopelessly too buggy and was trying to imitate other great games. Two worlds was infinitely more fun for a few weeks, but then you start getting bored and it basically cloned oblivion.... Perhaps I did suck at Oblivion. I have installed & uninstalled Oblivion more times than I can count & each time, after playing it for a short time, I simply lose interest. I'm sure it would help my case if I could give you exact reasons with examples, but I can't. It's just a feeling I got when I played. You said Two Worlds was fun & then you started getting bored. I can relate, as I felt that way about Oblivion. Maybe i'm just sore that I spent $70 on the Collectors Edition & then the DVD failed, or maybe it's because I could run for 20 mins in Oblivion & not come across another creature, save maybe a wolf or 2, unless mods were installed to change that. No offense, but I LOL'ed at you when you said Two Worlds basically cloned Oblivion. I find it amusing when I read posts of people saying that. It's always one game that seems to be a clone of another. Would you LOL at me if I said Oblivion cloned Diablo or Diablo cloned Ultima or Ultima cloned the original D&D? Thanks to awesome mods like "Deadly Combat", (I think thats what it's called, sorry if I called it the wrong name) which for me, went a huge ways towards making Oblivion a game worth playing. Standing toe to toe with an enemy NPC, exchanging blows, got old really fast in Oblivion. No critical hits or parrying or the ability to dodge an enemies attack, only to whip in past his guard to slip a dirk between his ribs as he's trying to recover his balance. It's not that I think Oblivion is a bad game per se, it's just not a great game either, after you get past the excellent visuals & the broken quests & many bugs that Oblivion seems to be teeming with. Of course Two Worlds & Gothic 3 sucked hard-core pre-patches. I'll be the first to admit that. Oblivion looks amazing, but great graphics alone does not a great game make. -MRG All just comes down to an individuals taste when it comes to gaming. -MRG

I didn't mean that two worlds was trying to be oblivion, it was better than oblivion in many aspects, all I meant was that two worlds was so alike to oblivion that it might as well have been the same game in different worlds, just oblivion not being exclusively 3rd person and not having such a cool storyline. But ultimately I enjoy Oblivion more due to the fact that there is a HUGE modding community and Bethesda is constantly releasing new content to keep the boredom away. Although, hard to admit, Oblivion sometimes does become a bit too tedious and linear.
