SSE A home for horses..?

Hi,

 

Is it possible to make a static* ranch of some kind where I can store all the horses I have (had)? A fenced in piece of land and/or a large stable perhaps.

 

It does not require any working NPC's even if that would make for a sweet relief to know the horses are tended to (by guards and/or stable hands?) while I venture on with my quests. A place I can visit from time to time with a newly acquired horse - or chose what one to travel with for that day..

 

Perhaps this is a stupid thing to ask for but I just found a (yet another) horse standing way out far from nothing and I felt sorry for him. Truth is, I wanted that horse no matter what. Riding it to my home I realized the obvious thing; the horses I already left at home will be narrowed down by one. Won't it? I could possibly steal and or buy another or even the same. Or spend days trying to find it again, on foot. The last one prior to the one I found will still be there, or somewhere, but the horse named Roach is now nowhere to be found. I know, I could always type in a console command to go to - or fetch - the horse. But that would not feel right.

 

After a few moments searching for an existing mod for this I only saw something I understood to deal with some of this, in it's own way - but for the old version of Skyrim: "Convenient Horse Herding by Alek".

Or perhaps I misunderstood things written on that mod page. In my mind it sounded as if I could use it to "store" up to 30 horses.

 

I do have my favorite horse I use most of the time, but still, I rather want to know I can place a lonely horse together with some new friends on a field of grass feeling safe.

 

* With "static" I meant something other then a movable herding area since I do want the horses to feel a bit more safe then guarded by three dogs in case I chose a not so secure area by mistake.

With my Hearthfire Enhanced you can park horses at the HF houses. It will be ported for SSE but I don't have an ETA for now.
