chazzee23
Sorry if this has been answered else where, Ive asked in what I thought to be the right place but had no responce. I'm trying to convert my mods to Skyrim Special Edition, But im not sure which files I have to upload for use on Nexus. I have two bsa files and the plugin file, Do I zip and upload all of them? Be honest this is frying my head and its probably really simple.
Lisselli
All is zipped up in this structure:Data\ esp and bsa So that it goes cleanly into someone's data folder.

chazzee23
Am I being stupid? Am I missing something? I cant/wont upload my mods until I know im uploading the right files. This aint the same as regular Skyrim uploads..
Lisselli
You're not being stupid.. It can be confusing as to how to pack something, I had issues with that myself way back then when bsa's became the norm. Unfortunately, I can't explain it further without confusing you more. That is to say, I am terrible at explaining. You should see how nervous/panicky I get when I'm asked for directions. I struggle with telling them because I don't want to get them lost. I'm better at showing lol.You could download some random mod and look at their file structure before unzipping it. Also assuming I understand it right that you just want to know how to properly pack a mod and upload it to the nexus. Deleted3897072User
You upload one file, structured like this: <mod name>.zip (or rar or 7z if you use those) <mod name> (folder) <mod name>_README.txt (if you have one) Data (sub-folder) <mod name>.esp <mod name>.bsa (as generated by the SSE CK) <mod name> - Textures.bsa (as generated by the SSE CK) You don't need to include the meshes and textures as loose files if you already have them packed into the two bsa's. But before uploading, check that the CK has included all of the files you need in the bsa's - sometimes it misses a few.
