silverbullet Posted December 27, 2011 Share Posted December 27, 2011 Since the new patch ive not been able to use skse ( yes ive updated it through the website to the latest version before someone asks =p ) i use to use the 4gb patch launcher before but since i dont need it now after the patch, ive just launched the game through steam, up until recently when i wanted to try that TESV Acceleration Layer and my brother pointed out that launching the game through steam dosnt launch the script extender (which is why i guess skyui has been telling me skse isnt working) so when i launch it through the skse_loader the Bethesda logo loads up then the main menu, then before the continue game, options etc comes up, the game just closes to the desktop.... i dont know what is causing it, ive removed ENB to see if tht was it but nope... and i cant seem to find anyone else with the same problem =/ any ideas? MShoap13 Posted December 27, 2011 Share Posted December 27, 2011 SKSE and ENB seem to have some minor conflict going on now. If the FPS display doesn't work for ENB, alt+tab out of the game and then back in on the main menu. As far as your issue goes, it's probably one of any number of mods causing your problem and a full mod list would be helpful. Basically you're going to need to deactivate/uninstall your mods one at a time until you find the culprit. It may however be a conflict between two or more mods. I'd start with anything that makes changes to the interface (UI mods, crafting mods, HUD mods). If removing SkyUI fixes it, it's most likely a conflict between SkyUI and some other mod you're running. You'd have to reactivate SkyUI and continue deactivating mods one at a time. oldmankidd Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 for me it was Categorized Favorites Menu by favmenumodder.... if you uninstall it remember to back up your configs if you have changed them. if that does not work then check the skse plugins folder and a file in there will be causiing the issue. i have a ton of mods installed and this was the only file causing the ctd. there is an update for Categorized Favorites Menu by favmenumodder Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
