Dmegatron
I'm having trouble with IRS not working. I had a bug that needed fixing so I uninstalled all mods and reinstalled them and now the dialogue options aren't showing. I could live without it, but I really don't want to get to the end of the game and find I can't knock Alistair out and make the ultimate sacrifice. I know I can leave him at the gate, but this makes no sense to me story-wise. If I can't fix the IRS problem, does anyone know of a standalone Alistair knock-out mod? theskymoves
If you are using the DAzip version of IRS-A, perhaps try installing the override version, and, if that doesn't work, move the IRS-A override folder into override/toolsetexport... that should give cmessez's files precedence over everything else, even if there is a conflict somewhere. (The "Wait..." Fort Drakon dialogue which leads to the punch is in alistair_main.dlg/alistair_main.dlb, so it would also be worthwhile to make sure there are no other files with those names in override... and a list of all installed mods would of course be helpful for tracking down any potential issues.) And as for a standalone knock-Alistair-out mod... I've never seen one. (Probably because of the need to edit alistair_main and the resulting conflicts.) Dmegatron
I made a toolset override folder and it's working! I love you!!
theskymoves
You'll probably need to create toolsetexport, nested under override. (Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override\toolsetexport\) I do see one potentially problematic thing on your list o' mods: are you using an older version of tmp's mild romance scenes (pre-autumn of 2011), or the most recent one? If the latter, you should be aware that per TMP it is NOT backwards compatible with IRS-A, and IMO, would be a likely suspect for what is breaking IRS-A. theskymoves
I made a toolset override folder and it's working! I love you!! Awww, shucks... *blushes* Glad I could help! /toolsetexport is a REALLY valuable port-in-a-storm for when nothing else seems to work, though it is (of course) always preferable to track down and eliminate conflicts.
