Moredhel
There are significantly more than in Oblivion its just a shame most are Dutch sounding it makes all characters sound the same and one sounds like Soild Snake which is REALLY annoying. Sean Bean should have done the voice for a dragon aswell would have sounded great! I dont have a clue of any of these 'famous' voice actors are in Skyrim a waste of money in employing them!Ehm, I'm Dutch and I really don't hear our typical "Dutch English"-accent in the game ;) Edited December 28, 2011 by Moredhel
badboyobubby
The voices are great.Mcbain does skyrim, I wish they would consider some french or italian accents for the next game. You know latino speaking argonians or ze french elves
ginnyfizz
I rather like the English accented elves myself. I also like the cockney gangster accent that Delvin Mallory has.
mgordon
I've sent my first batch into them already. Here's the list of what I did. Eat My Shorts!Aww, what's the matter, Homer?Don't Have a Cow, Man!Ay Carumba! Why You Little.Okily Dokily!I'm Bart Simpson, Who the Hell are You? Wait a minute. Oh shoot. Now that I look at my list, I'm realizing that those are the lines I recorded for The Simpson's game. I didn't do one for Skyrim. Doh!
Pineapplerum
This sounds like a lot of fun! And the more accents, the better. Who cares if they're Northern accents. I cracked up just thinking about how that "took an arrow to the knee" line is going to be played out by different people. A lot of silly stuff, I'm sure. I wouldn't mind at all. I like silly. If this became a mod, I'd definitely download it. And I think it would be great if each guard had a different voice. All the guards seem to have the same voice if they're from the same town. If I remember correctly. The guards from the same town can have different accents. It would just make it funner. :D I say, Go for it. Great idea, OP!
PrometheusV
Man they are forgetting the best Guard jokes! "Ah! Finally! The Dragonslayer, right? You know, my wifes mother is visiting us, sooo maybeee... but dont tell her i said that." "I used to be a front line drummer in the war, but then i shot myself an arrow in the knee, hehe... now its just sweet, save guard duty every day. sarnz
I thought Pam Landy did a good job before she got back to Treadstone
flobalob
It might have been better if the dialogue was consistantly done by the same voice actor. There's no way that some of the lines spoken by Esbern were voiced by Max Von Sydow (not unless somebody had his nuts in a vice). Bethesda, here's a thought, how about hiring a profesional voice impersonator off the telly next time?
Nekrafilia
There's no way that some of the lines spoken by Esbern were voiced by Max Von Sydow (not unless somebody had his nuts in a vice). And how do you know they didn't? Honestly, a professional actor and voice actor is capable of more then what you'd expect. That's why they are good at what they do. Don't denigrate the person or profession so easily please, it only makes you appear so much more the Philistine than perhaps you are.

Perhaps I shouldn't, but I still took offence of your statement. "Dutch sounding" equals blandness and makes characters sound like "soild snake"? :(
