Saving a texture and loading it in the game

All you need to do now is open the model that you changed the texture for in NifSkope. Select NiTristrips - BSShaderPPLightingProperty - BSShaderTextureSet. This will open Textures (the purple flower) in the Block Details window at the bottom of the NifSkope editor window. Click Textures and it will open into a row of purple flowers.

 

Make sure you dropped your new texture into the corresponding Data-Textures-YourRetexedModelsName folder.

 

Back in NifSkope click on the first flower in the Texture String and select your new texture. If you did more then recolor then you will need a to redo the normal map as well.

 

This info is all a short google search away, especially if you already have .DDS plugins for texture editing. There are a ton of tutorials spread out on the Nexus sites and TESWIKI
