nightchrono
I know oblivion is know for its crashes, but bear with me here. I haven't played or checked mod info in a while either, so sorry if this gets asked all the time. I have a Core2Duo 2.2 ghz Conroe, 2 Gig DDR2 ram, Geforce 8600 GT. Oblivion will crash on me about every 5 min (literally) even with no mods, on a new character. I updated to latest version, and installed latest of the unofficial patch. Beyond that I also turned all graphics down to minimum, and it would still crash every 5 min. Any help would be great.

damstachizz
So,E65502gb of OCZ 800mhzGeForce 8600 GT 256mb..see, was that really that hard to say..lol now, if these questions are already in the CPU-Z report..excuse me, cause i'm damn lazy and hate to read long posts..1.) what drivers are you running the 8600 on?2.) what update is the game? (1.1, 1.2..etc)3.) not so much of a question, as a suggestion..Overclock that damn CPU! now, it also might help if you got rid of the HEX in the above text..cause if it wasn't for my Logitech G9 having microgear, i'd be pissed trying to scroll through that..lol

damstachizz
You might want to try bumping the drivers back to 169.09..i've known a few people who have had issues with the 169.2x drivers..
