The mods of Skyrim Legendary will be compatible with Skyrim Special Edition?

Not all mods made with earlier versions of skyrim such as Skyrim Legendary will necessarily be compatible with Skyrim Special Edition. The reason being before SSE, the game was compiled as a 32-bit game, where now with SSE its compiled as a 64-bit game. Due to that change, you start having some issues when porting mods over from one to the other. However, some mods do work just fine, you kind of just need to perform some trial and error, which if you're modding or playing with mods is something that goes hand in hand with us here.

Some are compatible with no change, but many/most will require some minor changes to work. There are a couple of new formats being used and such.

Finally, many of hte advanced mods with scripting will not be compatible until SKSE comes out for special edition, as they need it to work - and that will take some months probably.

Is there an IPM (Idiot Proof Method) porting program? Just looking at the new Creation Kit for five minutes gave me a headache not to mention the recovering from the hijack of my system by Bethesda. I have sworn off using Bethesda hosted mods because of that incident. As long as the mod shows up on any other site I will consider using it if it fits my play style. I have about 8 mods from oldrim that don't rely on SKSE, I would like to use on SE. As soon as the SE version of my favorite shows on Nexus I'll be downloading that version. Thanks in advance for any responses.
