Female Faces are messed up even after uninstalling all mods!

So, after eyeing up some mods for the longest time, I decided to install True Eyes SE, UNP Female Body Renewal and the armor mod that you can install with it, which I can't think of off the top of my head, and SG Eyebrows which also came with the install window for the UNP mod. After playing around in Skyrim for a bit, I wanted to switch back to vanilla and so I uninstalled all the mods in NMM, deleted them in the Mods tab on the Skyrim menu, and replaced the ENTIRE Skyrim directory with a backup I made before modding. To add onto that, I even loaded a backed up save before I modded to no avail. So now the female characters all look different than vanilla even though there are no mods supposedly installed. To show you what I mean I have added the links to the before and after photos of Aela and Astrid. Oh and I also verified the game cache 2 times to no avail. Thanks for any help and happy Thanksgiving :D.

ok, NMM just helps install mods. Most mods simply put a file in your Data folder which overrides the game's own files. Often when mods are "uninstalled" these loose files can get left behind in the data folder. Verifying data just makes sure your vanilla data is in tact, it's not removing these extra loose files.

Take some time to check out your games Data folder in Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data where you will see folders called Textures, Meshes etc. These folders override the game's vanilla files which are compressed in a format called ".bsa" or ".ba2" etc. Btw, never delete these .bsa/.ba2 files.

Long story short, deleting the Meshes and Texture folders will ensure removal of this mod data you have installed

Thank you for responding so quickly. Your suggestion worked. I discovered there were a bunch of extra files like you stated and deleted them. Thank you so much :D.
