the000host
Heyyy First of all: this topic is not a battle mac-PC, I'm asking about my mac so, if you wanna help, you are more than welcome. I used to play skyrim in my laptop, due to my Imac screen is huge I tried to play it there. Display27-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology2560-by-1440 resolution with support for millions of colorsProcessor3.2GHzConfigurable to 3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 (Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz).Memory16GB (two 8GB) of 1600MHz DDR3 memory;Storage1TB (7200-rpm) hard driveConfigurable to 3TB hard drive, 1TB or 3TB Fusion Drive, or 768GB of flash storage.Graphics3.2GHzConfigurable to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. My laptop is pretty worse and I could play with max. graphics. In my mac, the only way to play is at 580x480, otherwise game is so lagged. But I've watched videos on YouTube where people play full screen mode perfectly. What is the problem? maybe Windows 10? Thx everyone Edited November 27, 2016 by the000host
Erik005
The GTX 680MX is not powerful enough to run skyrim at 1440p with good frame rates. Your laptop probably had a 1366*768 resolution which would require less powerful hardware. You need a beast of a gaming pc to play games at 1440p. Erik005
Have you installed the GeForce drivers? You might be using the iGPU of the processor. You can check with cpu-z You might have to tell the computer to use the 680mx Edited November 27, 2016 by Erik005
