Weapon Damage Value Bug

I'm experiencing a bug with my weapons where the damage value will momentarily be 0 (it'll still do damage, it just says "Damage : 0). I also noticed that my sword went from having a damage value of 9 to having a value of 11, then 13 after I used 2 perk points for one-handed weapons. When i load the save file I see in the menu "Damage : 13 (+4) for the sword, and when i go to my bow it'll say "Damage : 13 (+5)" despite the bow itself being a 6 in damage.
