Skyrim sudden average FPS drop

Hi guys, hope somebody can help me a little here as I'm a little worried, I was playing Skyrim before as usual on my comp on ultra settings where it was running silky smooth on 60 fps save for select locations, and then suddenly the screen went white, I could see the border of the window and after a few seconds the game came back on, the only difference is I can no longer get 60 fps unless I look at the floor, everywhere else in the game is 30 or below! This is exactally the same on every graphical setting, Low, Medium, High and Ultra. I was very slightly OCing my GTX560 using MSI afterburner and I'm getting paranoid that I've done the card in or something, I've tried restarting both Skyrim and my system to no success, I do know however that a similar problem occured a while ago shortly after the 1.2 update however I simply one day booted up the PC and it was fixed and back to normal. All my other games are also running slower save for FIFA 12, I attempted to run the Sims 3 shortly after this and noticed an average of 40 fps down from 60, so I'm a little confused and was wondering if anybody has known of such issues in Skyrim or just in general as understandibly I'm getting a little worried that I've done damage to graphics card. I'm running a few mods however due to the effects spanning into other games I doubt it's due to them. (Using latest ENB patch and also that mod that improves FPS by better optimsing CPU usage).

CPU: i5-2500k

GPU: nVidia GTX560 DirectCU

Memory: 2x4GB Corsair Vengence (8BG RAM)

Hard-drive: 2x1TB drives set up in raid

 

Help/infomation and reccomendations on this subject would be greatly appriciated.

I used to get this problem but not exactly the same, I would get sudden fps drop (from 35-40 down to 0-5) then I remembered that I am using 2k hd skyrim mod at full resolution, I un installed it and downloaded the lite vesion and now everything seems to be fine, and I almost forgot, I was using sung's enb with ssao, now I use nvidia ssao and using sung's (bokeh only) it does help, as I noticed using both nvidia Ambient Occlusion and enb ssAO will cause an fps hit of at least 8-11 frames.
