Fort/Dungeon Faction Idea

I figured that I either haven't seen a mod suggestion close enough to this, or just suggestions which are 100% RP purposes alone. So here's my request/suggestion/hint.

I would like to see a mod where players can occupy vacated locations (Or possibly inhabited with certain perks) with groups of NPCs and/or Enemies. When I see these random dungeons loaded to the brim with Bandits or swarms of Necromancers and Black Mages, I keep thinking that it would wouldn't hurt too much lorewise to see if a player could join up with one of these, or if possible, be in charge of one.

Each member of one of these dungeons would have the normal generic titles, but now the highest ranking member of these dungeons of enemies, like Bandit Marauders, Plunderers, and Chiefs would get random names so as to make it clear that you're following an actual person in charge. It wouldn't need to be too wildly deep, like "Yulgren Spine-Shatterer" or stuff, simple things like "Bandit Chief Rawhide" or "Draugr Scourge Potemkin". Upon entering these different locations, one would be confronted by the usual one or two enemies, but would be stopped as if they were being confronted by a town guard after doing a crime. The player can then do a Persuade or Intimidation check to basically say "I would like to join this group/faction/hobble". If they fail it, they will be engaged in the same way that they normally would, by having all of the generics in the dungeon attack you as usual. If you succeed, you can walk through the area with the enemies being in a Neutral stance to you and wait for you to talk to the highest ranking member of their location, as stated before. After this, you'll be given the option to join up and become a member of this group, to ask to be accepted, but not join in, or to simply say "Lol just kidding, time to die" and attack them as per usual. Obviously, the vast majority of influence here will be thanks to Speechcraft, and your persuasion and/or intimidation skill will be invaluable here.

From this point, a lot of options will open. You'll be able to "talk" to NPCs, which basically just means they say something generic to you or if they aren't sane humans, they stare at you and make a noise instead. Depending on which types of groups you join up with, some may have certain "Stockpiles" of things which will be for sale, like Bandits and Thieves with stolen gear, Necromancers and Mages with soul gems and spelltomes, etc. Others may give you followers/companions, like Draugr Followers or Skeletons which do little more than follow you around and attack things which engage you in combat. Some may do things like periodically grabbing particular random items like Ingots or Potions and just giving them to you because you're an honorable member of the group. There's tons of ways this could go really, and plenty of potential for the player who wants to be a standard member of the group, including probably things like uniforms depending on who you align with, standard issued weaponry and items, and obviously automatic engagements with opposing/enemy factions, i.e. Vigilants of Stendarr will attack you upon sight if you join a Dremora or Vampire group, roaming soldiers will attack you if you're in a Bandit or Thief group, so on so forth

If the modder who decides to do this gets creative and decides to go an extra mile, one could even begin to incorporate things like "Request" quests kind of like how the Dark Brotherhood has an endless stream of kill contracts, or items that some would need for various purposes(Experiments, Skooma Crisis, Need one more Ingot). All up to the limitations of what the community has access to, really.

The types of factions I see this working best with would be Bandits and Thieves, Vampires, Necromancer and Black Mage groups, and Dremora groups(Although the only place I know of that regularly spawns Dremora is the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon). Other ones which would be more of a challenge to deal with, but would still at least KIND OF make sense would be Draugr, Forsworn, and Animal/Monster factions, and I say these would be possible only because there could be items or something which could make them think you are at least trustable and not instantly try to eat/kill you, like having the Jagged Crown could make Draugr like you, Forsworn could be attracted to certain amulets/pendants, Frostbite Spiders could "Smell a Potion/Food item on you" or something.

I did also have an idea about becoming a leader of said groups, but I need to see the amount of response to this idea before I post that one too. Constructive criticism is appreciated greatly.
