Reality to slap or a team to work with and achieve greatness. I vote for the second option :D

Yea and from my understanding somebody here has been trying to suggest way in which to help recruit people or organize them. For huge story mods, I have to agree it is best to lay out a well thought out model of production. That is to say, provide people willing to help a way to help; as well as create a way to organize them.

I'm making a Khajiit you can marry. He will have his limits, so he's not going to marry anyone. Female Khajiits won't have a problem romancing him, but anyone else will have to do an extra quest to loosen his beliefs. Probably a Daedric love potion of sorts.

First of all, you will have to build up a friendship with him. Then you will be given the choice to romance him. After that, finally you can ask him to marry you.

It wasn't meant to be a romance-able NPC mod, but a lifelike NPC/Companion mod. Might as well include the entire spectrum.

I know a girl who will die/kill to play this thing. She's absolutely over her head for Khajitts. Will deliver the good news as soon as you've got it done! You will make one girl VERY happy :teehee:

@NathanRyan

Vanilla voices? Are they the ones that come with the game? do they have to say what the npc say and then you work it into the script? or can you chop and change them? I was wandering, some of npc followers have the same lines but different voices why didn't they just give them different lines or is the voice digitally edited. either way they've come a long way since oblivion. I hated how the beggars changed to a strong voice as soon as you gave them money and the speech craft had different voices too occasionally but it was fun. Sorry if I'm bothering you with all these silly questions.

@LukeSkyrimmer

firstly, I love your user name! Secondly, I know right? what were they thinking making Khajiits unmarriable, if you are playing as a Khajiit you can't even marry your own kind o_O maybe they don't believe in Mara! :laugh:

@SkyrimDarling

As a Big Mommy of this thread (:P), I'll try to answer:

Vanilla voices are indeed the voices that come with the game. As far as I know there are no additional voice files recorded but those present in the game itself. So to use vanilla voices, one would need to adhere to the already written and recorded dialogue. Anything beyond that would either be mute, or would require a new voice actor.

I think it's already possible (and it sure should be with CK if not yet) to open and edit these voice files. Chopping them up and sticking in another way. But I believe the results would be very wacky, because of different intonation. The options for new files created this way would be very limited when it comes to those that would make any sense :P

Wait, Khajiits cannot be married in Skyrim atm? ;o What is this! Can argonians be?
