Advice wanted on gameplay.

OK, I made the decision to eliminate Farengar. God, I hate that guy. Who doesn't? Such a condescending bastard, and he doesn't even have dragon experience. Of course, I saved the game just before doing the deed. So, I have a fork in the road. I saved the game just before going in there, so I can continue on this path, or go back. Will I need him later on or not? If I do, just don't tell me why I need him, because this is spoiler free. It says so every day on page one. I've done his quest when I met him.

By the way, I didn't think it would be so easy to get away with murder in Whiterun, let alone trying it right in Dragonsreach. He was sleeping, so I closed the door behind me and took him out. Lydia gave him an arrow to the knee. It's true. Has anyone ever seen Farengar? If I were this ugly, I'd be praying for someone to come and kill me.

I'll keep him alive then. Thanks. But, one day, he's dead for sure. OK, so I lifted off something from him. But what does he do? He keeps quite about it so he can send thugs after me to teach me a lesson. Of course, these thugs would have killed me if they could. That pisses me off, and I want him dead eventually.

Lots of people can send thugs after you, if you steal something from them or kill their friends. And why wouldn't they, you murderous thief?

Hey! I never killed nobody's friend.

Who didn't die along with them. Besides, none of my kills were murder. Self defense. Every single one of them. Now thieving, that's a different story. Once in a while, when the mark is an ass, or idiot.
