New player starting new game with mods, some mods not working

Hi, I just bought fo4 on steam and I am having problems getting just one or two mods to work. To clarify I am not new to modding, I have had extensive experience modding skyrim previously so I know the usual rules concerning mods.

 

This is my load order:

Immersive HUD Lite.esp=1

For some reason, I can't get immersive HUD lite to work. My compass and HP are both still persistent. Do note I did install this mod after starting the game and not before. I'm also not sure if primary needs is working, I believe it is as food do not heal as mod description states but nowhere do I see a needs meter. :/

 

Would appreciate help please in getting immersive HUD to work please :)

The immersive hud may need a patch to work with primary needs. As to your other issue, the open beta NMM has lately been having lots of issues with some mods not working. I'm not sure if it's not installing them fully or having problems activating them properly but it's a known issue. One tip I've seen is to run it as administrator when installing a mod. However if that doesn't solve it, then you may want to check the forum specific to open beta NMM as that's where the devs look instead of here. Good luck and welcome to fallout modding. :)

 

Off topic:

The Unofficial Patch suggests the following load order on their page (Loot may not auto sort it this way). I'm pretty sure AWKCR and Armorsmith also suggest putting the Unofficial patch before them too.

Thanks for helping. I found the problem. I believe its a load order problem, after using LOOT to sort the load order, primary needs is working upon loading my game today. Not sure about immersive UI, further game testing is required to see if that too is working correctly. Cheers!
