Reaper004
Hey all, I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to create a simple mod that removes all starting weapons from all followers? I want this so that my followers will ALWAYS use the weapons I give them, because those are the only weapons they'll have in their inventory. How hard would this be to do? Thanks! Pineapplerum
Just go into their inventory and take the weapon out. Then sell it. TA DA! Problem solved!
Reaper004
Just go into their inventory and take the weapon out. Then sell it. TA DA! Problem solved! Erm, before you answer, please at least make the attempt to know what you're talking about... Not trying to be rude, but everyone knows their weapons respawn and some have default hidden weapons which you cannot remove, even with console commands. My question was; is there a way to permanently remove them with a mod (I know there are some that do this but they also do a bunch of other features that I dislike; I'm hoping I missed a mod that does exactly what I want though). Perraine
Open the console and then click on the NPC/follower Type: showinventory Gives you a list of everything they have with its id number, including the auto-spawn 'hidden' items as well, some items will have (worn) at the end of the name to specify currently euipped/autospawn/hidden items (you can use page up or page down to scroll the list) then (with the NPC/follower still selected) simply type: removeitem <id number> <amount> The amount is optional, but apparently every time you leave/dismiss/re-aquire a follower the game adds another copy of certain items (someone said they noticed Aela had 40+ bows after a long playtime) so they may have more than one copy of the item ... If you use the removeallitems command, it only removes the currently equipped version, but not the 'hidden' ones so its best to remove the items specifically by number and amount, plus the remove all, also gets rid of any cash, potions, or food they have and you may want them to keep those
